“How to expose what’s inside a person in a portrait? A metaphysical question, which Otoportrait answers in both a pragmatic and ironic way: in order to make inroads inside, the external appearance must be overcome. Ganaël Dumreicher listens in on himself, in a literal sense. An intimate, acoustic self-portrait.

The title Otoportrait refers to the Oto-acoustic emissions, which are very individual sounds given off by the inner ear when responding to a sound.
